Governors

The Thomas Alleyne Academy is very fortunate to have an active and knowledgeable team of Governors. They are very involved in the direction and improvements made

by the academy. Governors visit the academy regularly and take part in many academy events. Parents may like to contact the Governors if they have concerns that are not resolved by the academy.

What works well?

Governors are grateful for the praise and thank-yous that the school and our students attract, which reflect the good ratings that the Thomas Alleyne Academy scores consistently in independent surveys.

However we recognise that sometimes things go wrong too, and some parents may wish to contact the Governors to discuss particular problems.

If you wish to make representations about the exclusion of your child, please follow the advice and guidance given to you in the exclusion letter from the academy.

If you wish to make a formal complaint, please follow the complaints procedure set out on the academy's website, or ask the staff in the academy office to send you a copy.

What happens next?

Governors will acknowledge all letters and emails within 3 academy days of receiving them, and reply in full within 10 academy days.
